Power Transmission Project in Support of the Energy Sector Reform & Development Program
The Power Transmission Project in Support of the Energy Sector Reform and Development Program objective is to improve the security, reliability and quality of energy supply, and, therefore, facilitate unimpeded operation of the energy market, both domestically and internationally. The main objective of the Power Transmission Project is to improve the security, reliability and quality of power supply through the rehabilitation of transmission substations and the strengthening of the power transmission network. The restructuring would amend the legal agreements to incorporate the provision of technical assistance support for the study and to revise its stipulated completion date from June 30, 2009 to June 30, 2012. This study was originally to have been funded by Ukrenego and completed in 2009.
