Ternopil District Heating Project

The project decreases the use of energy, in particular gas, decreases emissions of CO2, other harmful substances, water savings and improves the overall services of TmTKE.

The goals are to:

  1. Reduce fuel utilisation and thereby reduce losses by investing in modern technology ,
  2. Improve reliability of services to consumers,
  3. Adaptation of metering, introduction of demand side management measures changing consumption behaviour with the following main investments:
  • 1) Investment in Individual Heating Sub-stations at building level,
  • 2)  Installation of 8,0 MW wood chip boiler,
  • 3) Replacement of large distribution pumps,
  • 4) Rehabilitation of existing boiler houses,
  • 5) Rehabilitation of obsolete network,
  • 6) Installation of operation control system, SCADA
