Geothermal Project

The main objective of this assignment is realization of 3D MT survey, gravimetrical investigations and soil gas (CO2) survey of the selected potential geothermal field of Karkar to outline the subsurface structure and encompass the depth of potential geothermal reservoir, its thickness and extent, and the presence of major fault zones, which usually are the causing factor for increased permeability and conductivity of the reservoir.
