Electricity supply reliability and energy efficiency project

The main objective of the study is to carry out an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (EIA) for a proposed power transmission rehabilitation project to be financed in frame of WB’s loan.

ESIA study shall contain

(i) a comprehensive Environmental Assessment (EA) of the proposed corridor,

(ii) a detailed Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and a Monitoring Plan (MP) to establish and ensure environmental compliance during the construction and operation phases of the project, and

(iii) an assessment of the potential social impacts including resettlement and land acquisition requirements.
