Support to the Nuclear Operator of Armenia On-Site Assistance (OSA) at Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (A1.01/16 B)

The specific objectives of this project are the following:
(a) To provide further support to Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) during the implementation and licensing of safety enhancement measures to be introduced at the plant as a result of the ANPP stress tests;
(b) To provide support to ANPP in the development of documentation, procedures/methods, plans for the decommissioning of Unit 1 (taking into account their applicability to Unit 2);
(c) To provide nuclear safety related training to the personnel of the Operator of ANPP;
(d)  To provide further support to ANPP in solving short and long-term issues related to the management and reduction of radioactive waste.
