Monitoring of Chernobyl Projects

The aim is to provide costs analysis and follow-ups on schedule to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which is a major donor to the Chernobyl fund "Shelter" and the Nuclear Safety Account. This work is carried out under as explicitly described in the various contracts dealing with the new dome and with wasted fuel storage from the construction phase to completion. The Framework Agreement between Ukraine and the EBRD operates in respect to the Chernobyl Fund "Shelter" founded in Ukraine on November 20th 1997. The Agreement Grant (project adressing nuclear safety in Chernobyl NPP) was concluded between Ukraine, the EBRD (as administrator of funds provided) under the Grant Account for nuclear safety, the Government of Ukraine, and finally the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on 12 November 1996.
