Inception review: Support in the field of energy efficieecy and sustainable energy, Georgia

The 30 million DKK  programme “Support in the Field of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Energy, Georgia, 2015-2019” under the Danish Neighbourhood Programme supports Georgia in promoting energy efficiency in the building sector and integration of renewable energy to the national power grid. The thematic objective of the programme is “Strengthening of energy efficiency and sustainable energy, including reforms in the field of energy outlined in the EU-Georgian Association Agreement”.  The Inception Review (IR) will assess the outcome of the inception phase, including the detailed implementation plans and budgets developed with key partners, progress and status in the implementation of the programme at the end of the inceptions and to provide recommendation to the programme SC for the continuation of the programme if needed. In addition, the team will provide input to the scoping and formulation of a new country programme in Georgia in terms of support to energy efficiency and green technology.  The Minstry of Foreign Affairs seeks proposals from a consultant with extensive experience in the areas of green growth, renewable energy and energy efficiency as well as strong expreince from all phases of developement assistance programming and management, including from reviews of similar types of programmes/proejcts. Further the consultant should have a good knowledge of Danida's Aid Managemenet Guidelines.
