Health and ecological programmes around the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone: development, training and coordination of health-related projects.

To support health care measures targeted at the population of Ivankiev region afflicted by the radioactive fallout of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP, improving their general quality of life.
The action covers the training, guidance, scientific and medical monitoring and coordination of the following health-related projects:

• healthy, preventive and equilibrated nutrition for the population of the pilot district,
• creation of a news and information centre,
• development of programmes of maternal and child sanitary protection.

The activities will also cover the radiological mapping of the region and the development of the website for the
news and information centre.
