The first step in the transition to the use of renewable energy sources in Novovolynsk

The overall goal of the project is to reduce the energy consumption and the greenhouse gas emissions as well as to increase use of renewables in the region. The project aims to increase the energy security of the city by construction of the new heat-supply system from “Boiler of the 26 quarter” to the plant for solid waste processing, implementation of the complex thermo modernization of the school #7 and conducting of the awareness raising campaign for citizens about the actual energy problems.The project will create the demonstrative pilot project with use of renewables and newest energy saving technologies.
