Energy Efficiency Measures in Kiev Public Buildings

Emergency and energy efficiency measures for the Public Buildings and District heating services in the City increasing comfort for people and quality of services to consumers. This project has as objectives the following: Decreased amounts of energy used,Reduction of maintenance and energy costs, Better comfort in schools hospitals, day care centres and other public buildings in the city of Kiev, A model for Kiev city for future larger energy efficiency
investments attracting external financing and  Reduction of CO2 emissions. This is going to be achieved through:

• Installation and modernization of individual heating substations
• (IHS) in buildings owned by the city of Kiev
• Modernization of lighting systems in public buildings and
• Improvement of thermal insulation of the buildings
